Celebrating the late blooms of the Zinnia and Cosmos, these annual blooms are in abundance right now as we see Fall on the horizon and a bountiful floral harvest filling the store and our hearts - It’s our favorite time in the floral calendar!

Embracing the cottage garden, these romantic and whimsical flowers are grown direct from seed annually and one of the easiest flower combinations to grow in your own garden.

Use them either to bring color and texture into your flower beds or purposely for floral arranging. Either way you'll find it hard not to put a smile on your face with these beauties in your home and garden.

The Zinnia is a stand out star in the the florist world as a cut and come again flower, which keeps going from spring until the first frost falls. The more you cut, the more blooms you get, and we can never have enough Zinnias! Planted from seed each year the variety of colours are a flower lovers dream. From lipstick pink to sunset orange, they play well with other blooms when arranging, including the cosmos.

A giant daisy like bloom, with frilly paper like petals, the Cosmos are great for pollinators, providing a rich source of pollen and nectar from single, open faced flowers that form perfect dining tables for butterflies and bees. When you're looking to take them inside your home, cut them when the buds have colour and look like they are about to pop, that way they will last up to 7 days in your arrangement.
