Carnations

Did you know the Carnation is one of January’s birth flower? I found out not too long ago that it symbolizes love and admiration.

Before becoming a florist, I always thought Carnations were old-fashioned. One day, early on my flower journey, I came across some gorgeous dusty coloured Carnations and that was the beginning of our love story.

Last week, someone asked me what was my favourite flower and I can’t believe I didn’t name the Carnation. It’s in almost every wedding and wrapped bouquets I design. They last forever and can now be found in some gorgeous tones.
